DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Jeff Franzen. Six-year-old Franzen witnessed the assassination alongside his parents in Dealey Plaza. The Franzens, who can be seen in the Zapruder film, were interviewed that day by the FBI. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum on July 8, 2014, by Stephen Fagin. The interview is twenty-four minutes long.

Curatorial Commentary

The Franzen family -- Jack and Joanne Franzen and son Jeff -- is fully visible in the Zapruder film from frame 361 to frame 374, during the time in which Secret Service agent Clint Hill is seen climbing onto the back of the presidential limousine. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
