DescriptionAudio oral history interview with Alan Abrams. A senior at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, Abrams saw the Kennedy motorcade on Lemmon Avenue on November 22, 1963. Interview conducted via telephone on October 24, 2014 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is thirty minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary

Alan Abrams passed away on September 12, 2016. In addition to Mr. Abrams, the Museum has recorded a number of oral histories with former students at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. Other Jefferson alumni in the Oral History Collection include Judy Bergstrom, John Carpenter, Betty Duke-Ruhd, Janet Fordham, Richard Gump, Betty Jarrell, Don McDonald, Jerry Patton, David Ritz, Carolyn Roderick, George Sickler, Jan Sittel, William Ward Warren and 1960s schoolteacher Katherine Clayton.
