In the background are crowds of people lining the streets; the Dal-Tex and Texas School Book Depository buildings, and the pergola on the north side of Dealey Plaza can be seen. The next part of the film shows a bus, van, and several cars travelling west on Elm Street; in the background are people running up the grassy knoll and through the pergola. The first part of this film contains scenes of home movies taken of and by the Towner family: first are scenes with several people, including children; then of a car backing out of a driveway; then of two people swimming; of a girl wearing a ribbon on her shirt; of two people gathering rocks; and of an older girl saying goodbye and leaving in a packed car (possibly filmed by Tina).
