Several men are surrounding him, and moving the stretcher.  Detective Jim Leavelle is the man wearing a light-colored suit in the top center of the image.

This image is on "Kodak Plus X Pan Film / Kodak Safety Film +."  This image is labeled "13" on the film.

The metadata provided by The Dallas Morning News for the digital version of these images includes this description:  "TDMN JFK negatives collection / November 24, 1963 - scene at parkland hospital / research is needed to determine photographer."

This item was originally stored in a negative sleeve in the "The Dallas Morning News JFK Assassination Negatives and Contact Sheets Vol. 1" binder (2014.080.0001). This item was in the section of the binder labeled "Parkland, 11-24-1963."

The negative sleeve has a typed adhesive label in the upper left corner. The label reads: "JFK 44."
