Curatorial Commentary
Dr. Wert curated the traveling exhibit "Sign of the Times: The Great American Political Poster from 1844-2012," organized by Exhibits USA/Mid-America Arts Alliance. The exhibit was featured on the Museum's seventh floor from February 3 to March 12, 2016. Many of the pieces in the exhibit came from his personal collection. In addition to this oral history, Dr. Wert participated in a public program and teacher workshop at The Sixth Floor Museum, both of which were recorded as part of the Oral History Project. The teacher workshop may be viewed in full on the Museum's YouTube channel: Sign Of The Times: Teacher workshop with exhibit curator Dr. Hal Wert (youtube.com). - Stephen Fagin, Curator
