DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Tom Dillard. Chief photographer for The Dallas Morning News in 1963, Dillard was riding in a press car in the Dallas motorcade. He captured a famous photograph showing the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository within seconds of the shooting and went on to photograph the scene at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Dillard later covered the Jack Ruby trial in 1964. Interview conducted at Mr. Dillard's home on July 19, 1993, by Wes Wise and Bob Porter. The interview is one hour and fifty-nine minutes long.
