Ernest Brandt Oral History
This 1994 oral history interview was recorded just a few months after Mr. Brandt identified himself as an eyewitness to the Kennedy assassination. His first public interview, recorded by a news crew in Dealey Plaza, took place on the thirtieth anniversary, November 22, 1993, when the plaza was named a National Historic Landmark District. At that time, Brandt's friend and former business associate, John Templin, also identifed himself as an assassination eyewitness. Both men can be seen in the Abraham Zapruder home movie of the Kennedy assassination.
Mr. Brandt recorded a follow-up oral history interview with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on July 3, 2008. His friend, John Templin, recorded an oral history on June 28, 1995. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
