DescriptionTwo-page handwritten document filed by Dr. Charles J. "Jim" Carrico at 4:20 p.m., less than four hours after President Kennedy's assassination. Dr. Carrico was a resident surgeon and the first Parkland Hospital doctor to see and treat President Kennedy. He inserted an endotracheal tube to help restore the president's breathing shortly before other doctors provided additional treatment.
