DescriptionColor photographic print of a woman who worked for the South-Western Publishing Company on the second floor of the Texas School Book Depository, seated at her desk. This photo was taken in December 1963, shortly before Christmas. Karen Westbrook, who was a stenographer with South-Western Publishing in 1963-1964, identified the woman as Karen Hicks. Another woman, whose name is unknown, is visible at the edge of the image.
