DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Marvin Scott. An Emmy Award-winning broadcaster who interviewed six U.S. presidents, Scott covered Senator John F. Kennedy during the 1960 campaign. While visiting Dallas in 1966, he recorded several assassination-related radio interviews, including a significant conversation with Abraham Zapruder. Scott donated those recordings to The Sixth Floor Museum in 2003. Interview recorded at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on June 15, 2017 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and two minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
A journalist for more than half a century, Marvin Scott is a member of the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame, winner of eleven Emmy Awards for journalistic achievement and the author of As I Saw It: A Reporter's Intrepid Journey (2017).
