Melvin Belli, Joe Tonahill, and Phil Burleson represented the defendant, Jack Ruby; Henry Wade, Dallas County District Attorney, was the prosecutor, assisted by Jim Bowie, Bill Alexander, and Frank Watts. The presiding judge was Judge Joe B. Brown.

The Defense called two more doctors as witnesses. Dr. Guttmacher testified that he did not believe Ruby could tell right from wrong at the time he shot Oswald.

Retains both original covers; pages 962 - 1185; typed; each page is individually stamped "Copyright (c) 1964, Shirley M. Stinebaugh - James Muleady, Dallas, Texas". 

Originally held together with metal brads. [Metal brads removed prior to transport to UNT for digitization. Per a discussion with Lindsey Richardson and Stephanie Allen-Givens, it was agreed to dispose of the metal brads since we would not be putting them back in the transcripts and there was no need to keep them for historical purposes. Transcript in ok condition. Onionskin pages are in better condition than front and reverse covers; many pages are yellowed. Covers are discolored and edges have tears and folds; brown discoloration around all edges on front cover. Edges of three-hole punches have been worn with small tears. Deep vertical crease on front cover just to right of holes.
