The witnesses who appeared on this day of the trial were Ira M. Walker, Frank Johnston, Dr. Sheff Olinger, Dr. Robert Stubblefield, Dr. John T. Holbrook, Alfred H. Breniger, Dr. Peter Kelloway, Dr. A. Earl Walker, Jack Revill, Mrs. Eileen Kaminsky, Mrs. Eleanor Pitts, and B. H. Combest.

Melvin Belli, Joe Tonahill, and Phil Burleson represented the defendant, Jack Ruby; Henry Wade, Dallas County District Attorney, was the prosecutor, assisted by Jim Bowie, Bill Alexander, and Frank Watts. The presiding judge was Judge Joe B. Brown.

Proceedings began with a "night session" meaning the jury was retired, so various motions and disputed evidence could be handled out of the sight and hearing of the jury. The judge overruled several Defense motions, including a motion for the Court to instruct the jury to dismiss the case because Jack Ruby was unable to tell right from wrong at the time of the shooting. The Defense rested. The jury was allowed back in for further testimony and examinations on rebuttal.

Retains only the front original cover, the back one is missing, replaced with a plain piece of white paper taped to the last onionskin page; pages 1186 - 1387; typed; each page is individually stamped "Copyright (c) 1964, Shirley M. Stinebaugh - James Muleady, Dallas, Texas".

Originally held together with metal brads. [Metal brads removed prior to transport to UNT for digitization. Per a discussion with Lindsey Richardson and Stephanie Allen-Givens, it was agreed to dispose of the metal brads since we would not be putting them back in the transcripts and there was no need to keep them for historical purposes. Deep vertical crease on front cover just to right of holes, and deep diagonal crease across text box on front cover. Last page in poor condition and scotch-taped to piece of plain white paper.
