I had the great privilege of knowing Buddy and his wife, Glynda Turner, for a number of years, chatting with them at Museum events, during the annual Legacies Dallas History Conference and on other occasions as part of the local historic preservation community. I was thrilled when Buddy was able to serve on the Museum's board for a few years, and I always appreciated his longtime interest in the growth of our institution.
