DescriptionTwo-page typed letter from Antonia in Havana, Cuba, to Marcel dated December 17, 1962. (Last names not known.) The letter is dated December 17, 1962 and is addressed to "Dear Marcel". The letter is typed in black ink; some corrections were handwritten in blue ballpoint ink. The writer discusses her fears as a Cuban citizen of invasion, particularly around the holidays, a desire for liberation, the decision of whether to go to the United States if nothing changes for Cuba's citizens, Fidel Castro's behavior and public appearances, and revolutionary work against the communist government especially by women. Antonia closes the letter with the following text: "Many loves from my mother for you all and many kisses from your good friend. Antonia"
