Letter has the following text typed at top of page, centered:
"Havana, Cuba, December 17th. [sic] 1962
'PARADISE OF THE NEGROS'"
The letter is addressed "Dear Marcel", and follows with twelve paragraphs of text. The letter closes with the following text:
"Many loves from my mother for you all and many kisses from your good
friend.
Antonia"
All text is typed in black ink; some corrections are made in blue ballpoint ink. The letter discusses the fears of a Cuban citizen, Antonia, of invasion particularly around the holidays, a desire for liberation, the decision of whether to go to the United States if nothing changes for Cuba's citizens, Fidel Castro's behavior and public appearances, and revolutionary work against the communist government especially by women.
