DescriptionPolitical cartoon by Joe Parrish from the Chicago Tribune that features Cuban citizens and a freedom fighter. Cartoon is printed in full color. Titled "Freedom Fighter In Exile", the cartoon shows a man wearing a yellow hat sitting atop a pile of tobacco leaves on a cart being pulled by a brown and white cow. A second man stands on the road at the rear of the cart wearing a similar yellow hat and a yellow and red striped poncho. He speaks to a man who has poked his head out from the stack of tobacco leaves. The man on the road asks, "Are you hiding from Castro, Amigo?" The man hiding on the cart responds, "No! From el Presidente Kennedy!" The man in hiding is a freedom fighter and is holding a gun. Copyright information is printed in miniscule black text in lower right corner next to artist's signature, "PARRISH": "(c) 1963 by The Chicago Tribune."
