Front cover of this magazine features a caricature illustration of Fidel Castro and Nikita Khrushchev walking through an urban street with a Communist gang following them. Castro is drawn as diminutive compared to Khrushchev's rotund form and is walking looking up at the Soviet leader. The Communist gang of six men following behind Khrushchev have their hands in their pockets, many have cigarettes in their mouths. They all, including Khrushchev, are wearing lettermen style jackets that are black with red sleeves and a large logo on the left breast of the jacket. The logo has the hammer and sickle Soviet logo on half of a circular form with the other half of the logo gray with black dividing lines looking like a globe or a basketball; "East Side Rockets" is in gray beneath the logo. A man in a trench coat leans against a railing in the middle ground on the left side of the image. A metropolitan skyline is drawn in the background with the title of the magazine printed superimposed over the buildings at the top of the illustration. The artist's name is in the lower right corner "Herblock".
The front cover has a red outline around the illustration with text printed in black. The cost of the magazine "Twenty-five cents" is printed in the upper left corner, published date in the upper right corner, volume and issue number in the lower right corner, and the annual subscription cost "$7.00 a year" in the lower left corner. Magazine has 88 pages.
A pink address label is adhered to the lower left corner of front cover. Original recipient was Thomas Mailloux in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Magazine in good condition. Some color loss on front cover. Corners are bent and have small folds. The cover illustration features Nikita Khrushchev drawn as the leader of a gang, accompanied down a city street by a group of thugs in matching jackets and a diminutive figure of Fidel Castro, who appears to be tagging along. Khrushchev and the gang members are all wearing matching black and red jackets that have hammer and sickle logos and the name "East Side Rockets". A man in a trench coat leans against a railing in the middle ground on the left side of the image.
"Herblock" is in the lower right corner; the customary signature for famed political cartoonist Herb Block.
