DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Enid Jones. Jones was a fourteen-year-old native of Kingston, Jamaica in 1963, and the Kennedy assassination shaped her opinion of the United States for many years. She attended graduate school at New York University in 1975 and recalls experiencing racism for the first time.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on June 28, 2018 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-one minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryDr. Jones visited the Museum in May 2018 and volunteered for an oral history to share her unique memories of the assassination as a teenager in Jamaica and how the tragedy impacted her view of the United States.
