It was my first "mature" comic, and I was shocked and fascinated by the conspiratorial story that Steven Grant crafted across six issues (with amazing cover art) and, to this day, one of the most disturbing depictions of the fatal shot in Dealey Plaza that I've ever encountered. Nearly thirty years later, it was a great personal pleasure to speak with Grant about his childhood memories of the assassination and the creation of Badlands.
