Following this interview in May 2019, he recommended the project to a fellow history teacher in his school district, Gerald Kim Gallagher, who subsequently recorded his own oral history in July 2019. This is a great example of how volunteers and referrals help keep this Oral History Project ongoing year after year and preserve powerful firsthand memories of the 1960s.
