DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Janet Heinritz-Canterbury. In 1965, Heinritz-Canterbury left college in Wisconsin to become active in the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama. She joined the staff of the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee and later worked with the Southern Conference Education Fund in Tennessee. Heinritz-Canterbury was also an anti-Vietnam War activist. Interview conducted via Zoom on December 16, 2021 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and twenty-four minutes long.
