DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Gloria Xifaras Clark. A first-grade teacher in Dartmouth, Massachusetts in 1963, Clark and her husband witnessed the Kennedy funeral procession in Washington D.C. The following year she became a civil rights educator and activist in Mississippi, teaching at Freedom Schools and organizing with the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. She was later an anti-Vietnam War activist. Interview conducted over Zoom on April 5, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-four minutes long.
