Curatorial Commentary
In 2022, I had the great honor of interviewing a number of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who were part of the first group assigned to Liberia in West Africa sixty years earlier in 1962. In addition to Mr. Hess, I had the pleasure of recording oral histories with Nancy Bell, Geraldine Kennedy, Larry Walker, George Vance and Dr. Angene and Jack Wilson. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
