Gregory. Through his father, the late Fort Worth engineer Peter Gregory, Paul Gregory became acquainted with Lee and Marina Oswald in June 1962, shortly after the couple settled in Texas. He spent a significant amount of time with the Oswalds that summer, providing transportation, going on excursions and taking Russian language lessons from Marina. He last saw the Oswalds on November 22, 1962, exactly one year prior to the assassination. The author of The Oswalds (2022), Gregory testified at length to the Warren Commission in 1964.
