DescriptionBlack and white photograph showing FBI agent Robert Frazier in the sixth floor southeast corner window of the Texas School Book Depository aiming a high-powered rifle down Elm Street in Dealey Plaza. A camera has been attached to the stock of the rifle and the rifle is attached to a tripod. This copy of a photograph was part of FBI Special Agent Lyndal Shaneyfelt's Kennedy assassination file; Shaneyfelt assisted in the FBI investigations of the assassination conducted on behalf of the Warren Commission in 1964.
Curatorial Commentary
This image was made during the May 1964 FBI re-creation in Dealey Plaza to measure angles and distances relative to the location of the Kennedy limousine as shown in the Zapruder film of the assassination. - Gary Mack, Curator
