DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Judge Barefoot Sanders. A prominent member of the Democratic Party in Texas, Sanders campaigned with Senator John F. Kennedy in 1960. As a United States Attorney in Dallas, Sanders played a central role in planning President Kennedy's visit to the city in 1963. Following the assassination, he worked with the Warren Commission and remained actively involved in local investigations.
Interview conducted at Judge Sanders' office on March 8, 1995 by Wes Wise and Bob Porter. The interview is one hour and twenty minutes.
