DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Rodger Burson. A fellow of the American Institute of Architects, Rodger Burson worked on the first phase of the adaptive reuse of the Texas School Book Depository building after it was purchased by Dallas County in 1977. He was also part of early efforts to get state and national historical recognition for the Depository building. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on February 13, 2002 by Arlinda Abbott and Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-eight minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
This oral history with Rodger Burson concluded with a video walkthrough of the former Texas School Book Depository, including the two-story Dallas County Commissioners Courtroom that Burson designed in the late 1970s.
