DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Ed Hogan. A longtime WFAA-TV broadcaster, best known as the original host of local TV program, "Dialing for Dollars," Hogan observed the Kennedy motorcade on Main Street. After the assassination, he covered the scene outside Parkland Memorial Hospital live on ABC. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on December 27, 2002 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-six minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary

Edward T. Hogan, Jr. passed away on his 86th birthday, February 12, 2007. Dialing for Dollars was a franchised television program that ran on Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA-TV from 1965 until 1978. Hogan was the first host, followed by Ross Cass and Don Norman. Hogan also notably co-hosted The Julie Bennell Show on WFAA after previous co-host, Jerry Haynes, left the program. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
