Description8mm color film taken by Maury Seitz. Seitz, who flew the backup plane for Air Force One, made brief 8mm color films of President Kennedy's appearances in Detroit and Muskegon, Michigan and then in Minneapolis, Minnesota just two weeks before the Cuban Missile Crisis began.
Curatorial Commentary
A war veteran and long-time commercial airline pilot, Captain Seitz recorded an oral history with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on February 13, 2002. In addition, he participated in three videotaped programs at the Museum, recorded between 2008 and 2010. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
