Curatorial Commentary

At the time of this oral history, Terry Wood was a news anchor and reporter at ABC affiliate KTVX in Salt Lake City, Utah. For a news story to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the assassination in November 2003, he arranged for his old high school classmate, John Puddington of Albuquerque, to join him for a reunion in Dallas to trace their movements as teenagers on the day of the assassination. The pair visited the Museum three days prior to the 40th anniversary and agreed to this on-the-spot oral history. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
