The Casons, a conservative family, feared for President Kennedy's safety during his visit to Dallas because of recent political activities in the city. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on September 29, 2005 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-four minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
Ms. Cason passed away on March 15, 2009. She self-published her autobiography, One Life: A Memoir, in 2004. In addition to her memories of the Texas School Book Depository and the assassination, her book includes a number of original recipes used at Depository company parties. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza has two copies of this rare self-publication available for research by appointment in the Reading Room. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
