DescriptionAudio oral history interview with Frances Cason. A Dallas Police Department dispatcher in 1963, Cason recalls receiving angry telephone calls from around the world following the Kennedy assassination. On Sunday, November 24, 1963, she called for an ambulance after Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald. As a result, she testified to the Warren Commission in 1964. Interview conducted by telephone on July 31, 2017 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is thirty-four minutes long.
