DescriptionVideotaped oral history with Colonel Walter Cunningham. America's second civilian astronaut, Cunningham in 1968 was the lunar module pilot for Apollo 7, the first manned mission of the Apollo program. He joined NASA in October 1963, less than one month before the Kennedy assassination.
Interview conducted at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas on October 4, 2007 by Stephen Fagin, Associate Curator. The interview is twenty-one minutes long.
