Melvin Belli, Joe Tonahill, Phil Burleson and Sam Brody spoke for Ruby; Henry Wade, Dallas County District Attorney, was the prosecutor, assisted by Jim Bowie, Bill Alexander and Frank Watts. The presiding judge was Judge Joe B. Brown. Prospective jurors examined: James M. McDonald, Mrs. J. M. Gore, George W. Sutton, Mrs. R. C. Ramanowski, C. B. Perkins, Joseph Ferrari, Lawrence O. Greer, Mrs. Grace W. Lynch, Elizabeth B. James, Clyde Milam, James H. Pollard, Henry L. Graveley, W. O. Parsons, James E. Cunningham, W. V. Noah and Fred T. Porter III. James Cunningham was selected to the jury. Transcribed by court reporters James J. Muleady and Shirley M. Stinebaugh as indicated in footnote on bottom of each page. Transcript retains original gray covers; pages are numbered 1801 - 1995, typed on thin onionskin paper.
