DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Ralph Allen and Paul Boone. Allen and Boone were state troopers with the Texas Highway Patrol in 1963. After the assassination, both were assigned guard duty for Governor John Connally during his recovery at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on April 14, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-seven minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary

Paul Boone passed away on December 27, 2013. Ralph Allen passed away on February 28, 2019. A number of Texas state troopers and highway patrolmen were assigned guard duty for Governor John Connally at Parkland Memorial Hospital following the assassination. In addition to Paul Boone and Ralph Allen, the Museum also recorded oral histories with troopers Harlin Veasey, Max Womack and Ralph Wadsworth. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
