DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Robert Breen. Thirteen years old in 1963, Breen saw the Kennedys arrive at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth on the night of November 21, 1963. The following morning, Breen shook hands with President Kennedy outside the Hotel Texas.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on June 28, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is twenty-seven minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryThis oral history with Dr. Robert Breen is notable as the first interview recorded in the Museum's Media Room, a studio-style recording space on the ground floor of the former Texas School Book Depository building. Since this initial interview in June 2010, the black curtains of the Museum's Media Room have served as the backdrop for several hundred oral histories. -- Stephen Fagin, Curator
