DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Herman Craighead. A Dallas police officer from 1954 to 1978, Craighead was assigned to the head table for the scheduled presidential luncheon at the Dallas Trade Mart on November 22, 1963. Prior to the assassination, Craighead worked with Officer J. D. Tippit. Interview conducted at Mr. Craighead's home in Garland, Texas on July 7, 2010 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is forty-four minutes long.
