In addition to this oral history, Mr. Hill participated in a group interview with Gerald Blaine and a Museum public program with Gerald Blaine and Lisa McCubbin in November 2010. He and Ms. McCubbin returned to the Museum for videotaped public programs in April 2012 and May 2016.
Since joining the staff of The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in 2000, I have often been asked to name the one person that I would like to interview for the Oral History Project. From August 2000 to November 2010 that individual was, without question, U.S. Secret Service agent Clint Hill. Having watched his emotional interview on 60 Minutes decades earlier, I never thought Mr. Hill would visit Dallas, let alone participate in a videotaped interview. This 94-minute session was moving and powerful, and it remains one of my personal favorites in the Oral History Collection. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
