DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Robert Bruton. As operations manager for KXOL Radio in Fort Worth in 1963, Bruton covered the Kennedys' visit to the city in November 1963 as well as Lee Harvey Oswald's death at Parkland Memorial Hospital on November 24, 1963, and Oswald's funeral in Fort Worth the following day.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on January 24, 2011 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour long long.

KXOL Radio went on the air in Fort Worth on April 2, 1947. It was the city's first full-time unaffiliated independent radio station. KXOL changed ownership multiple times over the years and continued broadcasting until November 1985 when the format and call letters were changed to KWJS. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
