DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Edward Hromatka. Inspired by President Kennedy, Hromatka was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador from 1969 to 1972. He has remained an active alumnus and helped launch the National Peace Corps Association.
Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on August 12, 2011 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is fifty-two minutes long.
Curatorial CommentaryThe National Peace Corps Association (NPCA), a non-profit organization incorporated in 1981, was originally called the National Council of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers until the name was changed in 1994. Headquartered in Washington, D.C. the organization "serves the entire Peace Corps community, encouraging and celebrating their lifelong commitment to Peace Corps ideals and building their capacity to make a profound difference in the world."
