DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Sarah Mendoza. Mendoza served in the Peace Corps in Micronesia from 2008 to 2010. Her country host was a former Peace Corps volunteer from the 1970s. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on September 23, 2011 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is thirty-seven minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
Unlike those 1960s volunteers who shared memories with the Museum half a century after their Peace Corps experience, Sarah Mendoza participated in the Museum's Oral History Project just one year after completing her service. To date, she is the most recent Returned Peace Corps Volunteer to record an oral history. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
