This image shows a group of reporters and photographers gathered at a nurses station at Parkland Hospital after the arrival of Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963. A small group of police officers is also visible in this image. A sign on the door in the background says "Blood saves lives."
The images on this negative strip were taken by one of two Dallas Times Herald staff photographers at Parkland Hospital that day: Andy Hanson or Eamon Kennedy. It is unknown which of the two men took these pictures.
