DescriptionOriginal 120mm black and white negative taken by The Dallas Morning News staff photographer Clint Grant. Senator John F. Kennedy and Senator Lyndon B. Johnson ride in the back of a convertible during a campaign visit to Fort Worth on September 13, 1960. Judge Sarah T. Hughes sits between them. Senator Johnson is signing an autograph and Senator Kennedy shakes one of the many hands extended toward him. The car is surrounded by crowds. In the top left of the image, a sign declaring "Eastland County All the Way for Kennedy Johnson" is visible. This image was taken after Senator Kennedy gave a campaign speech in Burnett Park.
