DescriptionOriginal 120 mm black and white negative taken by The Dallas Morning News staff photographer Clint Grant. Senator John F. Kennedy, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson and Barefoot Sanders ride in a motorcade through downtown Dallas during a campaign visit on September 13, 1960. Senator Kennedy is standing in the backseat and waving to the crowds lining both sides of the street. The parade is moving south on Akard Street with the south side of The Adolphus Hotel in the background. Several photographers surround the car, and confetti is sprinkled everywhere, including on the car and in Kennedy's hair.
