DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Gerald "Jerry" Hill. A Dallas Police officer in 1963, Hill was present during the search of the Texas School Book Depository and at the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff when Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on August 31, 1993 by Wes Wise and Bob Porter. The interview is one hour and twenty-four minutes long.
Curatorial Commentary
Following this 1993 oral history, he returned to the Museum on April 18, 2007, joining fellow police officer Paul Bentley and moderator Hugh Aynesworth for a public program entitled "Arresting Oswald." Gerald Hill passed away on August 8, 2011. - Stephen Fagin, Curator
