Curatorial CommentaryDubbed "a rock star among Dallas' senior set," Dr. Rumbley - even at the age of 90 in spring 2023 - continues to make appearances each year at church and community group meetings, area colleges, book review clubs, senior centers and luncheons. She is the author of numerous books, including The Unauthorized History of Dallas (1991) and Dallas, Too (1998). - Stephen Fagin, Curator
