DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Charles Smith II. A Dallas artist and fashion designer, Smith has incorporated civil rights icons and imagery into his clothing collections. He organized a multimedia experience, "Freedom, Part II," in support of the Black Lives Matter movement at the John F. Kennedy Memorial on June 12, 2020. Interview conducted over Zoom on February 13, 2021 by Curator Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and six minutes long.
