DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Dr. Peter Irons. In 1962, Irons co-organized the first anti-Vietnam War demonstration in Washington D.C. The next year, as a representative of United Auto Workers, he helped coordinate and attended the March on Washington. From 1966 to 1969, Irons was incarcerated in federal prison for refusing military service. He was later pardoned by President Gerald Ford.
Interview conducted via Zoom on December 7, 2021 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is one hour and one minute long.
