DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with David Searls. A freshman at Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1963, Searls recalls hearing about Jack Ruby and his nightclub prior to the assassination. In 1964, Searls witnessed a civil rights demonstration on campus. Interview conducted at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza on October 3, 2022 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is thirty-one minutes long.
