DescriptionVideotaped oral history interview with Susan Carder. A student at South Oak Cliff High School, Carder turned seventeen the day after the Kennedy assassination. She recalls that her father would not allow her to miss school to see the presidential motorcade because he thought it might be dangerous. Interview conducted at Evergreen Retirement Community in Rowlett, Texas on February 7, 2023 by Stephen Fagin. The interview is seven minutes long.

Susan Carder was one of three people interviewed during an outreach visit to Evergreen retirement community in Rowlett, Texas in February 2023.
